With the Chinese New Year just around the corner, Lazada Singapore’s CEO, Mr Loh Wee Lee, wants to wish everyone a very Happy Chinese New Year.

Mr Loh has also given updates regarding Tracked Postal Deliveries and Collection Point Subsidy.

As of last November, we have progressively upgraded our Economy Delivery Service for non-LazMall sellers, from Postal Untraceable to Postal Tracked services. This means more peace of mind on the delivery status of lighter and lower value items. (< $10 & < 1kg SKUs) for sellers.

Now, for a flat fee of $1.25 per parcel, a Lazada Airway Bill is provided instead of the need to purchase a stamp. Drop off the item at any letterbox, post office or POPSTATION and the parcel status will be tracked upon pick up, all the way to delivery. In case of lost or damaged parcels, this new option shifts the liability coverage from sellers’ to Lazada, as sellers can claim up to the maximum of $10, as long as the status reflects a shipped status. This minimizes unnecessary loss while improving margins for our sellers.  

We are also extending a subsidy to sellers who offer 3PL Services (Home delivery or Collection Point) on lighter and lower value items (< $10 & < 1kg SKUs) to shoppers.

Previously, sellers were charged $2.49 for a tier 1 delivery option. This has now been lowered to just $1.25 to coincide with the Tracked Postal service. The reimbursement of $1.24 will be calculated on a monthly basis and reimbursed in the following month end’s financial statement.

We will also be strengthening the camaraderie amongst Lazada Singapore sellers with several new seller resources. This includes consistent updates on, where we aim to bring you the latest news, best practices, and new initiatives that can help support you on your e-commence journey, bringing your business towards another new peak. There will also be links to seller support group pages to raise and be part of discussions.

Lazada Seller Stories will also be an important part of our seller resources in the new year. We will shine a spotlight on inspiring Lazada sellers and their journey in growing their businesses online, along with becoming successful sellers on the platform. 

Having highlighted Killiney Kopitiam, Prestigio Delights, and Offer & Save’s successes on Lazada360, we hope that these have shown that there are no definite routes to success. Everyone has their own journey to explore as entrepreneurs and Lazada is here to support your business. We also hope that the videos will also encourage sellers to learn from one another from best practices, and motivate one another to keep pursuing their goals.
