LazMall Brands Future Forum Recap
Hey Sellers! We hope you had a great time at the Lazmall Brands Future Forum on 1 September, be it at the physical event or watching as it was live-streamed! For those who had unfortunately missed out on the event, fret not as we will give you a recap of what happened in this article!
We hosted two sessions of Lazmall Brands Future Forum on 1 September, with the regional session done from 10 am to 1.30 pm and the Singapore session from 3 pm to 5.30 pm. We held a hybrid event and hosted 600-pax onsite, while simultaneously livestreaming the event to allowed more LazMall sellers to join us online in real time and be a part of the forum.
For such a large-scale event, we had adhered to the government’s Vaccinated-differentiated Safe Management Measures (SMMs) and all the guests were required to be fully vaccinated. Everyone had to show proof of vaccination during registration and are seated within their zones. Grouped by their categories, guests are allowed free-seating within their zones, allowing them to better mingle with fellow sellers.
The Singapore session began with an opening address by Lazada Singapore’s CEO, Mr Loh Wee Lee, welcoming our esteemed sellers to the event and setting the tone for the forum.
It was noted that the COVID-driven E-Commerce trend is expected to stay post-pandemic. Statistics had shown that 76% of online consumers shop at least once a month, 36% shop online once a week and 27% shop multiple times a week. E-Commerce has also now become a must-have channel for brands and sellers.
Following the opening speech, we shared important information on upcoming mega campaigns, highlighted programs and tips with our sellers about selling on Lazada.
Sharing some of the record-breaking news with our sellers, the presentations also let in on how LazMall’s various initiatives such as dedicated campaigns and Brand Mega Offer had helped our LazMall brands reach a new level in sales and conversions.
For example, AVEDA, whose objectives for taking part in the Brand Mega Offer include promoting key product lines that help combat hair loss and repair damaged hair and encouraging the purchase of higher value bundle sets through bigger savings for consumers. The result of their campaign showed a 60x Revenue Uplift compared to Normal Day and 6.5x Traffic Uplift compared to Normal Day.
We also disclosed upcoming important dates for our sellers at the forum, including the LazMall Brand Fiesta on the 15th of every month, along with the plans for our 10.10, 11.11, and 12.12 Mega Campaigns.
At the forum, we also introduced more about Lazada Sponsored Solutions’ technology edge backed by Alibaba’s strong technology infrastructure.
Here, sellers are shown Lazada’s esteemed Marketing Solutions such as Sponsored Display, Sponsored Affiliates, and the upcoming Sponsored Media. Not only so, but sellers were also let in on how to best use the suite of Sponsored Solutions in different phases to maximise their sales.
Not only so, but we also had a panel discussion on Building your Brand Story Through the LazMall Experience led by Marin Daney, Category Director Health, Beauty, Baby & Pets Supplies, Ben Suon, Lazmall Cluster Head for General Merchandise Lazada Singapore, and Quek Wei Ling, Group CBO Synagie. It is moderated by Josephine Wong, Head of LazMall & LazMall Prestige Channel Experience.
We were also pleased to have Yang Kan, Head of Solutions Architect, Alibaba Cloud Singapore, South Asia, and Thailand Alibaba Cloud, share with us on Putting Retail at the Heart of the Next Digital Reality.
Bringing our sellers on a journey into the Metaverse, the forum also introduced the linkage between virtuality and reality and showed how our sellers can be a part of the Next Internet in the near future.
At the forum, we also presented awards to 27 of our LazMall sellers, highlighting their brands’ achievements on Lazada.
This includes LazMall Rising Star winner, Muji, LazMall Best Brand Mega Offer winner, Garmin, LazMall Best Traffic Activation winner, PrismPlus, LazMall Best Brand Launch winner, TWG Tea, and Best Super Brand Day winner, Shiseido.
At the physical event that was held at Resort World Convention Centre, Sentosa, four booths — LazMall Brand Solutions, Laz Beauty, Marketing Solutions, and LazMall Prestige — were set up for the sellers to personally experience what Lazada offers that value-adds to their e-commerce store.
