Marketplace New Commission and Lazada Preferred Seller Program
Hey Sellers! We have three important updates for you today: New Commission Scheme for Marketplace Sellers, New Shipping Rate Card, and the Lazada Preferred Seller Program.
New Commission Scheme for Marketplace Sellers
As we look to enhance our platform offerings, it is also important that we ensure the reliability and sustainability of our platform for our customers. Hence, we will be making some adjustments that will go into supporting the long-term growth of all Lazada sellers.
Starting 18th July 2022, a 2% commission fee will apply to all local Marketplace Sellers. New sellers will be exempted from the commission fee for the first 90 days on Lazada. This will apply to orders that are created from 18th July 2022 onwards. More information about the commission fee can be found on the Seller Center and Lazada University.
New Shipping Rate Card
The new shipping rate card will be applicable to all sellers and come into effect as of 18th July 2022.
- Buyer shipping fee for Collection Point increased to $1.49, while the seller shipping fee decreased to $1.49*.
- Seller shipping fee for low weight (<1kg), low value (<S$10) items increased to $1.49.
*Collection Point parcels will now qualify for low weight (<1kg), low value (<S$10) items. This will allow the standardization of seller shipping fee among collection points and standard delivery and reduces your seller shipping fee for these items by $1.00.
